Eau de Mélisse
des Carmes Boyer

Our history begins in Paris in 1611 with the Discalced Carmelites who founded their convent at 70 rue de Vaugirard with the support of Marie de Medicis, Princess of Tuscany and Queen of France.

They began producing in the greatest secrecy a famous elixir of medicinal plants and spices which became the Eau de Mélisse des Carmes.

Following the Discalced Carmelite monks in 1838, the Boyer family perpetuated this know-how for seven generations.

For over 400 years we have passed on this hand-crafted know-how, this unchanging heritage, this bit of Parisian history which has survived the Revolution, wars and crises without fail.

Comforting, invigorating and ideal for digestive problems, fatigue and motion sickness, the famous Eau de Mélisse des Carmes Boyer brings together the benefits of fourteen medicinal plants and nine spices.

It is the oldest product sold in pharmacies. It is 100% natural and produced exclusively in the Eau des Carmes Boyer workshops, always by hand.

Often imitated but never equalled, the Eau de Mélisse des Carmes Boyer gets its strength and flavour from nature.

Eau de Mélisse des Carmes Boyer has been awarded the status of a Living Heritage Company (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant).
